Landmark Properties. Licensed residential home builders in Alabama and Georgia.

Kelly and Ryan were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their vision and attention to details is truly amazing. They always put their clients first and make sure that they are happy with the finished product. We looked at many homes built by several different builders when we moved to Auburn, but no one compared to Landmark Properties when it came to how the homes were finished out and the wonderful extras that add so much to make it your “home.” Kelly and Ryan aren’t just your building team, they become your friends too!

Working in construction I have a lot of contacts in the business and talked with several builders when we decided to build. We couldn’t have been luckier when a friend told me Kelly and Ryan had started Landmark Properties. We contacted them to look at our plans and give us a proposal. We haven’t been disappointed yet. From our first meeting to discuss our vision of our home to closing, Kelly and Ryan were 100% committed to providing us our dream home in budget, on time, and with the highest quality workmanship. Five years later, life is taking us in a different direction and we will soon be working with Landmark Properties to build our next dream home.

Four years ago, I retired and moved to Opelika to be near my son. My biggest concern at that time was finding a new home. I knew I wanted the house to have a visually appealing exterior with a unique design and floor plan. My realtor had shown me several houses on a sweltering June afternoon, and I was somewhat depressed as we entered Sawyer Drive and began looking at the next available properties. As we drove down the hill and over a slight rise in the road, I saw it, my house - the one with the lovely roses blooming in front. I told my agent, “That’s it.” He tried to suggest other properties and showed me some more pictures, but my mind was made. I began a journey that day that would lead to new friendships and an unshakeable trust in Kelly and Ryan Watson, two enormously talented individuals who are unequaled in design and building. To this day, if I need anything related to my home, Kelly or Ryan will see to it that I get help. To someone living alone, this is especially comforting. I know they will come to my rescue if I need it. When the tornado struck in Opelika, my son’s roof was damaged. He asked me to take care of it for him. I called Ryan, who did not build my son’s house, and told him we needed help. The very next day, Ryan was on that roof repairing it. He also installed flooring in my son’s house because my son would not trust anyone else. Ryan Watson is a true artisan, his work is flawless. Further proof of the excellence of Kelly and Ryan Watson’s work is the fact that their houses sell! It has been my pleasure to recommended them to several people in the area, and I will happily continue to do so because of their talent and because they are good people you can trust.

Landmark Properties are builders of beautiful homes, but more importantly they are builders of relationships and integrity. I have had the esteemed honor of representing this company over the last five years and I count it my privilege and blessing. Kelly and Ryan Watson are some of the friendliest and most “down to Earth” people one could ever meet. There homes are where beauty and brains meet quality construction and craftsmanship. Their attention to detail and willingness to please their customers is unlike any I have ever experienced in my real estate career. The World English Dictionary defines landmark as the following: A prominent or well-known object in or feature of a particular landscape, and they are just that; a company who builds prominent features on the landscape of our community adding things of beauty and integrity in the neighborhoods they touch!

What a great experience to work with a company that truly cares about their clients. Landmark Properties came along side us and assisted us in bringing about our ideas and hopes for a home. Rather than telling us what they would do or how they would build our home, they spent time, energy, and used their experience to make our dream home a reality. During the process of building our home, there were many times where we needed their knowledge and recommendations to help in making the best choices. They listened to us and worked with us rather than pushing their own ideas on us. We can truly say our choice of building with Landmark Properties was a very beneficial experience. Kelly and Ryan were both people of great integrity and they were careful to treat us with respect. Kelly’s decorating skills along with her desire to help design and complete our dream home blessed us and made the experience more enjoyable. Ryan’s integrity and determination to do an exceptional job qualifies him as a 1st class builder and the only choice for us. Thank you Landmark Properties! Job well done!

Landmark Properties builds unique homes with special attention to detail. The quality of work and service you receive from Kelly, Ryan, and their staff made house building fun. Kelly has an eye for unique designs, while Ryan provided the friendly service I needed to feel comfort completing the home. When I decided to look for a home in January, I found the Landmark Properties home on Weatherford and the special design from the kitchen cabinets, to the coffered ceilings caught my attention. I knew then I wanted to find a home that Landmark Properties built or was building. That’s when I found that the one on Karlee Court was being built by them. I had the opportunity to pick my colors and lighting. It was a pleasure working with Kelly and Ryan. They put a lot of love in building their homes. Very satisfied customer here.

Kelly and Ryan were amazing to work with. They helped us build an awesome home where many memories will be made. Building a custom home is not easy, but Kelly and Ryan were there to answer every little question and guide us along the way. We love our home and are grateful for the friendships we gained in the process.

In January we decided we wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and increase our square footage. We wanted to move to Auburn and looked in several areas. All of the houses that were already built were either too much or not on the right lot or we just didn’t like them enough. So, we decided to build. We talked to a builder’s representative that we knew and looked at the model and the choices. All of the things we wanted were extra, of course. And when we asked for colors to choose from we got samples that were beige, and beige and beige. When we asked if we purchased the paint could we go a little deeper the answer was no. I wanted a color in my dining room and that was no. I really didn’t feel good about it but we proceeded and put down earnest money. As we proceeded with our mortgage, because we owned another house, the down payment increased. We asked that the closing costs be added. The representative said the builder didn’t like to do this. I didn’t get the impression that he even asked. I just felt like we weren’t getting any consideration. This was a big deal for us. Still we proceeded. Then one day Joe came running into work and said “come on, Im going to show you a house.” Tori met us there and when we walked in I was overwhelmed. It was beautiful!!!! It looked custom built. We had never seen such beautiful woodwork. The kitchen was incredible and the exceptional workmanship went upstairs too. We have a linen closet like none I have ever seen, especially in a spec house. This house was more than we could have imagined. As you know we signed a contract the next day. Luckily the mortgage went smoothly and we closed on time. We have been in for around two months already and we love coming home to this house. I am still putting it all together and enjoying every minute. Kelly and Ryan, obviously spent a lot of time and a lot of thought building this house and we feel so blessed to be able to live here. Also, we feel like we have made friends.
